Chocolate Ice Cream

Isn't this a chocolate cake directory? Yes, it is. True, this is chocolate ice cream, but there is a reason I am posting this: this is really, really good chocolate ice cream. Probably one of the best I have eaten so far. Amazing chocolate flavour, sweet without the taste of pure sugar. Liked it :-)

Emergency Brownie

It was Saturday night, I was out with a friend, having a fun time eating bad tapas. Suddenly there it was: craving for chocolate cake.

Not an easy thing if you are in Charlottenburg and it's past midnight.

We went to the Hackesche Markt, mingled with the tourists and finally found this little place with a range of brownies.

Rating: A good midnight emergency brownie that - depending on the degree of emergency - even might be worth the tourists.

Brown and Green Chocolate Wedding Cake

My cousin's fall wedding featured this lovely brown and green chocolate wedding cake, decorated with hand-made green marzipan apples. This homemade cake was frozen for transportation and the apples were added later.

Chocolate Cake at Katrin's Birthday Party

The picture's not so great, because I had to take with my cell phone at a party, but the cake was great! Another chocolate cake birthday present for one of my friends. A moist, thick chocolate cake covered with melted dark chocolate, that adds a crunchy layer.
